Ella Kohn, born in Jerusalem in 1990, is a filmmaker based primarily in Tokyo. Her short film Who Sank Your Ships?, inspired by her time as a military photographer, screened at over 50 festivals worldwide. She holds an MA in Film Studies from the Steve Tisch School of Film at Tel Aviv University and is currently developing her first feature film. She served on the LIM selection committee, tutors for the Talents Generator Factory, and has directed animated and documentary shorts across Asia. A passionate traveler, she’s often found filming from the back of a motorcycle.
